I can't believe I'm saying this about a fic where AZ gets attacked, but that was awesome! You really conveyed how much everyone cares about her. And you could plainly see that Callie was struggling with the thought that something much worse could have happened. I got the sense that she was hit by the realization that AZ could be ripped from her life at anytime. You could just feel the love pouring from her in waves, and the need to protect her. I'm surprised she was able to contain herself and not kill the guy. I feel like the only reason she pulled back was because of Mark's comment about AZ not needing her to get arrested. It was great to see Mark being so caring as well. Nice job!
