You manage to convey the essence of the characters in these few words. One shots may seem easy, but they aren't really, because you have much less room to get your point of view across. Since you have chosen to go with revealing thoughts and not dialogue, a little more emotion or opinion would help bring the interaction alive. Good start though.

I like the idea, a short story summing up their relationship but you might want to get someone to beta read it because you have a lot of grammar errors. :) Good luck and don't give up!
