Dean's always ready to brush something as serious as that under the carpet, when really it's apparent, he's not okay.

I love that they talked about it. And that the communicate so well even with the sidesteps and "I'm fine"'s getting in the way.

That's so, so typical Dean. Mr. "I'm always fine". But thankfully Sam can see right through it!
Great job here! And I kinda missed a little heart to heart at the end of the epi between Sam and Dean.

Good job on this! It's totally believable that Dean would be all twitchy and not-wanting-to-talk after that episode... must have been pretty scary for him. You captured that really well here. And of course Sam knowing without him having to say anything. Love that. :)

I LOVE this image. Ngh. Wonderful, as always.

This is my very favorite part:

There is just something about that image. Dean pretending to be fine. Controlling his face. Keeping his breathing calm. Being less successful controlling his hands, they are all over the glass. And his leg. Totally out of control. And right beside Sam. Who totally notices. Non verbal communication at its best. *loves*

I saw that prompt, thought of my own "writing" -- you can't know how glad I am that you wrote this. It is just speaking to me, singing in my spirit right now, as loud as can be, despite how -- heavy it is, how serious.
