I really, really enjoyed reading this, I don't normally read Buffy fics but I luv Spike and when I read the summery I couldn't resist.

This was amazingly well written, the characters were absolutely perfect even down to Anya's comments. Spkie doing the *boys are bad* speech to his adopted little sis Dawn made me laugh. I love the fact that he always has a soft spot for her.

I think a sign of a good fic is when you can imagine a character 'actually' saying what you have written, and there was not a point in this fic that I felt was out of place, everything all the characters said and done was so true (are you sure your not Josh Wheden in disguise?)

This story is great! Made me laugh, and nearly cry. And I like the last line: "And someday, if I happen to wake up blind, I just want you to know...I'll still be able to kick your ass." It was nice that her friends accepted Spike, and Xander's threat kept him in character. Good work! B/S ROCKS!
