I love many things about your fic. I like the good balance between reflection (your POV, their POV)and action. It's always enjoyable to read.

This was a perfect dose of hurt/comfort and good villains. Like Dean, I hate those witches too. They are the ugly, dark side of the human nature.

There are also many great details that made me happy: "The moment his first hand was free, he grabbed the hem of Dean’s shirt. “They made me drink something.”

"Dean never had enjoyed running the same way as his brother. He liked sparring, and weight training, swimming, even the occasional cycle at the gym." Imaginative, and also so coherent.

This line just warmed up my heart: “They tried to cut off your jacket. I didn’t let ‘em, though.” Thank you!

I like how the witch's lips reminded Sam of a clown.

I love how Dean said "Yeah, well so have I" to the witch after she commented that she's become rather attached to Sam.

Liked how Dean described his baby as not being 'stealthy'. So true.

I liked the pretend backstory about Sam being in a gang - the tattoo - and how some of his old friends came along and forced Sam to take something.

Nicely laid ending!

love the H/C - especially like, "This was, one more day with his brother and one more day of being Sam’s brother. It was the only page he had left in his wish book." We all wish they have more than one more day to be brothers.

I love your writing. Your pace is great, your humor well-timed, and plenty of h/c without turning them into girls.

You have a wonderful balance of action and introspection as well, between thought, memories, and what's really happening in the story. There isn't ever a point where I grow bored and want to skip ahead just to see what happens.

I think one of my favorite lines was: "Inwardly he groaned. Now was a horrible time to be channeling his brother." You can so see Sam as the type to imitate his brother and then realize it was a bad idea. I think all siblings do this at one point in time, especially younger ones.

There was so much more, but I'm not even sure where to start. So, I'll just say this was an overall great read. Thank you!

Dean -- our white knight hero -- bursting in through the barn door was my favorite part! Adore the whole wind/and leaves imagery.

Once again, great brotherly stuff, especially Dean to the rescue, being the awesome big brother we know he is.

This was, fighting the good fight, taking down as many evil sons of bitches as they could before the big showdown that would probably leave both of them dead, or empty shells, or wishing they were dead. It was the only page he had left in his wish book." - Boy did you say a mouthful with this paragraph. That really sums up Dean's lot in life.

This was fabulous, nicely observed turns from both the boys, and just the right level of concern from Dean. Loved the part where Sam was praying for his big bro to show up too. I like to think season 5 Sam is back to that point in his relationship with his brother.

Oh and congrats on getting Sam undressed so quickly!
