That was amazing! So much expression, and depth, and even though most of it was sad and angry and bitter, it turned out happy. That's the best kind of story.

Just... lovely. There are several lines that really jump out at me because of their beauty, but I particularly liked this part:

"'Artemis,' she said. He closed his eyes. He had done what he could. It was her turn now."

And, of course, I have to mention the "'It bears repeating'" and "'Genius boy.'" Wonderful.

I'm having trouble thinking of something to say beyond "it's lovely!"

I reminds me a little of "A Family Tradition" – the idea of the long separation and the string of girls and finally the reunion.

I particularly liked the description of Artemis in the first section; those opening paragraphs set it up beautifully. And Holly's regret is palpable throughout. I simultaneously want to hug her and shake her (not that I think she'd stand for either, mind you). The reunion is wonderfully touching and the last lines are just right.

Great one-shot! And it even ends happily! Yay!

Beautiful story. I live the style, and the almost poetic beauty of the writing. The vague-ness but the gradual coming together of the pieces... pun not intended. xD Anyways, moving, stunning, unique. I love it. :)

Well, damn! Now that was some good reading. Normally, I don't swear in reviews. Authors tend to find it offensive. But for writing of this quality, I will make an exception.
