Very nice. It never occurred to me that Frey would have such issues, and given his parents' deaths and sister's effective imprisonment after the Godwins' coup d'etat, it should have. Top it off with literally thousands of people relying on him, and it's a wonder he was able to stay sane.

Lyon's role was very touching, as I'm sure it was intended to be. It was obvious to me early on that her relationship with Frey went beyond that of a bodyguard; the way she EGGS HIM ON during the encounter with Roy is a case in point. Then there's the hand-holding bit at the end...

Anyway, this was definitely worth the read.
