I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jim's Sanctuary. Too many fics portray him as having an abusive childhood while I don't always see it that way. Here I love how he had a mother who loved him and sang him lullabies and cared for him when he was ill. LOVED the flashback!

What a perfect way to end my perfect night. I just came back from yet another free screening of Star Trek. My seventh viewing of that movie. (So not healthy! Just more fuel to my already ablaze fangirliness. Don't even wanna know what's gonna happen when I get my hands on that DVD.)

Anyway, to read awesome fic right after the watching the movie is just great!

I LOVES! Love the queen, but most of all, I love your Jim. He is truly mature here and he understands all the implications, but at the same time he's still a kid. The best part was the snowball fight. AWESOME! It was a great balance of seriousness and happy fluffiness...
