Beyond hilarious!

Because Naruto has grown-up/matured/experienced enough? Three years does that to someone, and incase you have failed to notice, Naruto has grown-up a lot when you compare him to the start of the manga.

I love your writing, but I do not agree with what you wrote here. The chapter made me go WTF too. I got that when Sakura gave her little speech about her switch of interest to Naruto that she said it because she didn't want Naruto risking his life over something she said, but that didn't make her come off any less nasty. Because you do not go telling people you are in love with them just to stop making them chase ex-bestfriends.

Eitherway, I loved the chapter, as it showed a turning point for two major characters in the series.

oh snap. sakura's a beast. and you're right, this is totally how it should have happened. this is 100 times more consistent with the characters' personalities than what really happened.

btw, you're my new favorite author. hope to see some more naruto stuff from you in the future, preferably narusaku!

Haha, I loved this. I really do wish they'd at least tell Sakura what happened with Sasuke, I think she deserves to know. Kishimoto has been frustrating with Sakura, sometimes she shows such growth, and then the next second she has to be saved... oi. I want Sakura to kick butt (preferably Sasuke's, hah.)

This was amusing. I liked the bit about the "fellowed tortured souls" because it's true that that's all Naruto really seems to care about. Fun read!

Also, a reviewer below made the rather awesome point that this plot takes away the option of NaruSaku, which I HATED more than any other ship.

I actually... disagree with you. It has nothing to do with your writing- I think you are a fabulous writer who doesn't get nearly as much attention as she deserves. I just think you're making rash judgements concerning the plot. It was a totally WTF moment for me too, but the key is that it was for Naruto as well. Sakura IS a bad actor, which therefore makes the idea that she "holds no weight to love and bonds, and will drop the old kid for the newest hero like that" untrue. I've also never understood the Sasuke is an idiot perspective- even Naruto says that it's his love that drives him to do what he does. At risk of using a cliché, there is a thin line between love and hate. I think we have to wait to see what's really going on, because everything is still smoke and mirrors. It's annoying, and I don't EFFING CARE what happens to Killer Bee but SUSPENSE is apparently a selling point so we really can't make any conclusions.

I do agree with you about Ksihi's treatment of the female characters though. They're ALL medics. Except maybe Tenten, but she has, what, 10 lines?

Anyway, looking foreward to a new chapter of Revoution!It's wonderfully compelling. :)

Your parody, or rather rant, for lack of a better word, seems quite inconsistent and I was unable to follow it... To be honest, I couldn't really understand what you were talking about half the time. Sakura being inconsistent comes off quite well, though.

I actually disagree with you... I really liked the plot turn that the last 70 chapters took. And I still don't see how the recent chapters make it look like SasuSaku will happen, because that possiblity was ruled out a LONG time ago.

I think Naruto actually started using his brain when he said that the promise wasn't about Sakura anymore. Doing so much for three or more years because your crush tells you to is completely stupid... at least he should want to do it because he misses Sasuke and wants him back.

Sakura acted like she didn't "hold any weight to love and bonds" because she did not want Naruto to risk his life in doing what she considers the impossible by making Naruto think she didn't care about Sasuke anymore, at least. She didn't actually "drop the old kid for the newest hero", she just said that because she didn't know any other way to discourage Naruto from pursuing Sasuke... Since the whole promise started because she liked Sasuke in the beginning. But Naruto would have still gone after him even if it wasn't for the promise.

Naruto became "well-informed" because Madara actually told him that Sasuke was being manipulated by him...

I also think it's quite honorable that Naruto still wants to help Sasuke even though he seems like the biggest jerk to me.

But I do agree with you that Sakura came off as a totally bad actor in the manga. :D

I actually loved chap. 470, just cuz Sakura is now going out to punch sasuke, and we know NaruSaku will never happen, and Sasusaku probably will. D yay! but i still liked this!
