Alicia08 2005-06-07 ch 14,	abuseI enjoyed this story. Was up pretty much the entire night reading it. Loved how you wrote with such detail and you seem to write the characters very well, specifically Xander. There are a few things that were bothersome though. Maybe my memory sucks, but I believe I remember Fred being amongst the group when they all came upon Jackter. Chapters down the line however, she was totally forgotten about. Also, Spike! In his 'what if' scenario, as it was being played out, he seemed gleeful about killing Buffy, seemed to hold no romantic feelings towards her at all, but since Fred is amongst them, I'm assuming that this story is taking place during season 3 of Angel and season 6 of Buffy, which would mean, Spike at this time is head over heals in obsession with the slayer. Eitherwho, despite those discrepencies, very enjoyable read.

But one thing I wondered about through the whole story was why Fred was just forgotten about after she was in a charpter or two (don't quite remember). She didn't get to see an event or anything and then it was like she wasn't in the story at all... ok I just found that weird and thought I'd bring it up, but anyways, overall a great story... continue writing and I'll continue reading...

So much so that I sat here at my pc this morning to finish this knowing that I would be late for work. I found your Xander AU interesting. Most ficcers have Xander not telling Buffy being a good thing, as people tend to think Angelus would have killed Buffy if she hadn't fought all out. I lean towards that theory as well, but still you did an excellent job of presenting an alternate outcome that is entirely plausible. Reading your notes on that chappy I can see how that would have been hard to nut out and write. Great job all round!

In the first several chapters, you mentioned Fred on several occassions. However, after awhile you completely dropped her from the story. shrugs I was just wondering what happened there.

giana 2002-05-11 ch 12, anon.	abusei've loved this series from the start. and it is needless to say that angel did make a big difference in buffy's life. i also do believe that she made just as much difference in angel's. so i really had a hard time reading through this part. angel had helped and saved buffy numerous times but the same is true for angel. I just can't seem to get it out of my mind that had angel never met buffy that spike would have found him to restore drusilla to health and without buffy there to save him... well... buffy's life would have been different but i don't think it would have as insignificant as it turned out in this story. sorry, this is not a flame. just an opinion...
