Great connection between the two series and two great characters. Very well-written, and the dialouge was smooth and realistic. I enjoy your take on the two of them interacting in the future. Great job. :)

Great story, very well written and I soooo wish you would make a sequel or even turn this to a full blown story. Great plot and very in-character.

On a side note. Your story is actually accurate since according to the Yu-Gi-Oh wiki, it has been confirmed that the Ushio of 5Ds is the same one in Duel Monsters.

I'd love to see this fic grow into something more, a series of viginettes like this with Yugi meeting people from his past and seeing how they and the city has changed. Maybe even meeting his friends again in the long run.

Reading this again and noticed for the first time that it only has 4 reviews. I can't understand why; it's so well written and includes a scenario you'd think everyone would be speculating on and excited to read or write.

I'm very surprised this only had 2 other reviews, it's very good work. Some of the best I've read. I think it's great. I had previously picked up on the fact that they are supposed to be the same character, but it's more of a cameo if anything. GX was set 10 years after the original and 5D's 50 more years after that, so it's unlikely to be the same person, perhaps a son? Nonetheless, ignoring those facts this is really great. I would like to see it go on, but I think that might ruin the spirit. It seems that it's just a chance meeting, just like this fic. Wow, I rambled on and one, but seriously, this is very good work, keep it up.

This is coll! Never realized the resemblance between Ushio and the bully from the beginning of yugioh. I really can't wait to see what else happens!
