i loved it. i loved the way you wrote it, the way you spun together a story from little scenes that seem to mean little, but once put together create a bittersweet chronicle - and the ending was just... gah. love. love, love, love.

oh, this is so poignant and lovely! i love the little details you put in here, like, "she never takes baths anymore, only showers," and how she picks up the trash. and i love how you say that she grows up and grows old like they're such simple things, that don't need to be explained - and once you think about it, that's how it is, isn't it? that's all there is to it.

i really like how you left the end open to interpretation. with how you set up this fic, i think that chihiro died, but that's only my perspective. i don't know how you think it happened in your mind.

but i love that movie because of Haku and Chihiro

this story was absolutely beautiful, and it almost brought me to tears,
