homeric 2009-11-14 . chapter 1Aww - that was adorable. Really liked it, and kudos for getting the "voices" of the crew totally in character. |
writtenwordlover 2009-11-11 . chapter 1Aww... nice, and the bit about the tea, just had me screaming, "Sit and drink the gorram tea, Mal!" It is just tea, but so very important to whom Inara is, and yes she will learn how he likes it;)
And thanks, for writing what I think is the verse’s most engaging couple. |
bladefax 2009-11-11 . chapter 1That was pretty darn good. That should have actually happened in the series or the Movie. Good Job. |
 T-man626 2009-11-11 . chapter 1Very nice. Very nice indeed. |
 fiducia 2009-11-10 . chapter 1Aw! That's beautiful! |
Malinara 2009-11-09 . chapter 1Ooh, M/I candy! I'm with shirJo here, I hope you keep writing for this pairing, you write them so well ^-^
I love their conversation especially the part where Mal wants to take this on damned be the risks (so typically him!)
Shiny writing =) |
RionaEire 2009-11-09 . chapter 1Good story about Mal standing up for himself and them and what they can be together, have together even if it is a risk. You had some good turns of phrase and images in here: Mal saying it was his fault, it being the first time he's said it away from his dark empty. The venere of poise barely hanging from Inara's fingertips. Mal wanting to be with Inara more than life, more than freedom, that one really hit me coming from him. The theme of wanting to have something more than fearing the pain of losing it was interesting, a theme which Zoe really personifies in the series and beyond, the fear of losing something not keeping one from daring to have it, better to have and lose than to never have etc. A good theme.

The Dream Guardian 2009-11-09 . chapter 1This was a great and very touching story. I love the intreaction between the characters. |
ShirJo 2009-11-08 . chapter 1 Very nice!! I know you mostly write Mal paired with other characters, so I was really pleased to see this M/I story from you. Your writing is excellent and their conversation is so mature, and just a joy to read. Thank-you, and I hope you won't stop writing for this pairing from time to time. |
