Wonderful work you have here. I came across this after beating Myria today, and as I read the first few lines, I knew what'd make this story have a bigger impact than intended. Before I continued reading, I listened to "Old Friends" from Breath of Fire I, which is the song you first hear after reuniting with Rei in Cedar Woods as Ryu and Garr. Listening to that song and reading this piece emotionally drained me because I felt everything. Loss... Hopelessness... Anger... Oddly enough, the last thing I felt was a warmth as calmness came over me. It made me flashback to fighting Bario & Sunder for the first time, Rei's flashback, Teepo's flashback, and of course, Teepo desiring to be with his "family" again just before he died.

I cried. I really did. In fact, as I type, I still am. I can assure you, this is definitely going on my list of favorites around here.

This story is amazing, it's hard to say how good something truely is without atually reading it yourself. This story is defenitly one of those things.
