EmmaDel 4/10/13 . chapter 18That was a good story. Mostly I like it, but I do have a problem with the way the abuse was handled. Just because someone loves you that doesn't give them the right to hurt you. This is only a story based in fantasy, but some people do believe that painlove. I overheard a conversation once where a co worker of mine talked about a friend of hers who believes that if a guy doesn't hit you he doesn't love you. It would have been nice to see Sam say he was sorry for his behavior and promise Jacob that he would never again give him a reason to run away. Jacob had good reason to run away and that was lost by the end of the story. Sam had physically hurt him and threatened the lives of people he cared about. I also find it strange that Jacob just abandoned his pack. Also, I did come across a few typos in the chapters. It may be a good idea to read the story over to catch and fix them or have a beta do it for you. |
EmmaDel 4/10/13 . chapter 17I'm waiting for Jacob to call Sam on his abusive behavior and for Sam to apologize. |
EmmaDel 4/10/13 . chapter 14This is a good story, but I don't like the excuses. Just because someone is in love with you doesn't give them the right to hurt you. You are essentially blaming the victim. Jacob brought the abuse on himself because he didn't submit to same when he was too young to do so. There were other things Sam could have done to try to control himself and his desires. He could have been honest from the beginning and told Jake about the imprint. He could have tried to get Jake to love him back by being nice instead of being an a-hole. He could have talked to any of his elders about how he was feeling to get advice on how to handle it. What happened is not Jacob's fault. He didn't know about the imprinting. All he knew was that an older man was all over him and he didn't feel the same way. |
EmmaDel 4/10/13 . chapter 10I am definitely enjoying the lemonade. The only problem I have is that you are describing Sam and Jacob's relationship as dominate and submissive when it isn't. In a Dom/sub relationship the sub agrees to be the sub willingly. They are not forced into it. Also generally the Dom doesn't cause any unwanted pain. Sam and Jacob have an abusive relationship. Sam couldn't eve apologize for the way he treated Jake. |

Breanna3593 1/27/13 . chapter 17Damn! No compromise. Oh well. |
Breanna3593 1/27/13 . chapter 11If Sam could just learn to compromise and not be abusive! Jeez! |
Breanna3593 1/27/13 . chapter 10That wasn't too shabby! I absolutely loves Sams little speech! So sweet! |
