:) ya! Jak and Dax are finally back together.

I'm surprised there's any room on Sig's shoulders for Dax to lay across, what with his armor. But we all know that if Dax can hang onto Jak's shoulder during all his antics, then hanging onto Sig must be a piece of cake. Big people who move that damned quietly are scary. And intelligent metal heads are even scarier!

Very nice action scene, gave the sense of the chaos one would find in a battle such as that. I find that one has either got the knack for action/combat scenes or one does not. (I can only claim to be a moderate action scene - or any other scene for that matter- writer LOL). Good authors though learn how to turn a so-so scene into something that has the audience sitting on the edge of their seats. Your not quite up to R.A. Salvatore standards but hey, it's a learning curve right? ^_^

It's good that you have shown Sig as being mortal & capable of being injured or even screwing up. OH the fallacy of the peacemaker. Long recharge time in comparison of other weapons.

More information for Dax to store away for a later time. He's smarter then he looks or that most people give him credit for. That's what makes him such a fun character to write. The combo of comedy and seriousness, sarcasm and flirtatiousness, loyalty and honesty.

Have I mentioned you write awesome action scenes? Because you do :D. Great, fast-paced chapter, and what a place to leave off. Makes me really want ta see what's to come. Can they piece it all together?! Hope there's more soon, I can't wait! Happy writing~

You managed to show the vast difference in experience between Jak and Damas, yet at the same time captured the potential any truly experienced warrior would see in the teenager. It seems that Damas is starting to understand what Jak is saying, as long as it's taken slow that is. A good showing of the fact that Jak can make noises and sounds even if he can't speak.

Heh too bad Damas has to keep up an appearance as King, otherwise he might have caught Jak instead of having Kleiver loose him. Then again it might be good that Kleiver lost him considering the big wastelander's general attitude towards anyone.

The old man doesn't cut corners or soften the blows does he? Get's to the heart of the matter instead of pussyfooting around about anything. He also makes sense in a horribly black and white kinda of away. Something Jak will undoubtedly have to get use to as long as he is in Spargus.

Poor Jak! it's hard to truly appreciate what going through something like that would do to someone, unless they've gone through it themselves. You're quite the fast updater! I'm very grateful for that! Though i fear school work will soon make keeping up with you difficult <.<;

Aww, poor Jak. I really liked Damas' explanation of the arena, and Jak's reaction to it. Heh heh, I also liked 'He's a girl?'
