That was so scary yet interesting to read. i just watched this movie last night with a friend of mine and I just had to look some fanfics up of it and i'm glad I stumbled on this one.

This was the first movie i had ever seen that actually kept me up at night. The whole demonic thing just creeps me out. But I guess some people think that a doll with a knife (easily stopped by a good boot to the face) is more frightening than Satan's infantry (No real way to stop but through Christ). Anyways, good fic, well written and well thought out, fits perfectly into the story and gives more to think about. good job

Beautifully constructed idea. I never thought about the nightmare that was tormenting Katie during the movie but that's the reason for fanfiction. You really hit her terror on the spot and I think you did a really good job conveying her POV through the nightmare of that night. Your craft needs a little more work, particularly with sentence structure but that can be taken care of over time. Excellent short!

I watched this film and I must say it didn't scare too much, the only part that managed to frighten me into keeping my bedroom light on for a whole night was when Katie was dragged out of the bed by her legs screaming, that was fucking scary! The ending I could handle alright, it was just that part. Me and my friend recently debate over which scene is scariest, the ones that follow them, have to be when she's controlled for the first time and then when the hand prints appear on the floorboards. Cleverly done, but still something that makes me uneasy at night. Haha! She never did explain about the nightmare and this was a good possibility of that, I like it, now I shall go and read something that won't remind of why I kept my light on all night, haha!

Brilliant! when i first watched the movie i was shitting myself so bad i couldn't go to sleep for two days. i had a hunch that i had someone was watching me but in the end i got over it. brilliant. if we saw that in the movie it would definitely be a 18 with it's horror. great!
