I liked this, it was well written. The introduction of another supernatural character was good too. I particularly liked the fact that Vlad and Sam have a natural aversion to one another that they are trying to overcome: vampires vs. shifters. And that Robin and Sam also have a natural aversion: Stokely vs. Tanybyrn. That was a nice element.

The only tiny-weenie thing that I did not like was that Sam was described as having a Southern accent. I personally would have preferred it to be clarified as a Southern American accent right away. A non-location-specific Southern accent within a story set in Wales immediately brings to mind the South Walian accent. This is just a personal thing though, since my little sister watches so much American TV that she seems to think she is in America; it starts to grate. Ha.

But yeah! This story is ace. I like your style. x
