Not the least bit strange, Bil. Rather, you tell the story of this desperate woman very convincingly. It makes her cry "I am here" all the more convincing - in effect, the only thing she *could* have said. Your writing conveyed Sam's sense of confusion, frustration and desperation quite effectively. I got caught up in her anxiety. Well written. Thank you.
