Great vignette! I really hoped to see this. Poor Mara at the beginning... And I'm glad they decided to hold a trial, because Luke's speech was absolutely *brilliant*, and this way, she might be really accepted easier, not just tolerated. :)

As I have said to others, I say to you: quality over quantity and timliness. I will continue to watch whether you update in a week or in a year.

That said, Luke's one line seems a tad ironic to me. "What right do we have to deny her the chance to redeem herself? Who are we to say who is beyond redemption, unworthy of forgiveness?”

Isn't he guilty of that himself, though towards a different person entirely?

i love it. especially Luke's speech. you've gotta love when he doesnt know what the heck he's doing, but actually makes something out of it. plus, you also have to love the luke/mara scenes.


I can't wait for the other stories!
