That has got to be one of the sadest fanfics i have ever read.

Wow. This wasn't just a death fic, it was THE death fic. Everyone in the Bat Family had died except Dick and the Cassandra. Whew. What a wrenching experience. I gotta say this, though, you said death fics are horrible cliche, and I agree, but what's cliche about them is the over dramatic nature of so many of them. People are running around screaming and wailing as they mourn. "NOOOOO!"" WHYYYYYY!" and so on. Yours was far more believable IMO and well written.

ooooooooooh grim and gloomy and scary and sad and all of those wonderful things i love in a death-fic. ) this one produced some great imagery and was really intense to read-especially near the beginning when you didn't know exactly who it was that had died. wow. thats all i can say. wow. nice job. )
