Inari 3/8/03 . chapter 1 Well of course I was there, what did you x-pect I wasn't? (you see, I was that red furry little creature scurying in the backround that no one noticed, except for gollum who wanted to eat me, but was I about to let him? of course not.) J/K I really liked it! And you know what they left out of the movie that made me mad? It was also Frodo's birthday. Not just Bilbo's so. puh! (not to mention another numerouse things like elves are NOT supposed to be at helms deep. but there you go)

anon 11/30/02 . chapter 1 I don't really like poetry but this is really good! |
kiss 1/19/02 . chapter 1 speaking as a HUGE fan-poetry hater, this is good shit. |
Dark Eyes 1/17/02 . chapter 1 This is really good! Sums up how i felt when reading the Lord of the rings! |
 Riah-chan 1/17/02 . chapter 1I don't usually like poetry but this one I can relate to... |
Lady Arcorna 1/16/02 . chapter 1 That was so sad. It brought tears to my eyes. |
Isadore Spindle 1/16/02 . chapter 1Alright. I should begin by saying that I have a severe dislike for nearly all Lord of the Rings fanfiction, and even more so for poem-fics.
But I really liked this. It wasn't melodramatic, it didn't try to be something it wasn't... It was, in fact, very good!
Soo. It's a great poem. Different from the mainstream, and considering what the mainstream is, that's high praise. My only note is that 'where' should be 'were'... Do continue writing, won't you? |
Valerie E. Mackin 1/16/02 . chapter 1The only issue I have at all with this poem is where you would say, "Where you at the party." I think you meant. "Were you at the Party." Nothing big, its jsut little things like that that catch my eye. Otherwise, I really liked this poem. I know how you feel. |
