Really enjoyed reading this. Very well written, and kept all the characters in character. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, all the way up to the conclusion. I actually didn't care much for Rosemary's Baby, not the ending but it's just not my favorite when it comes to these those type of horror movies. But I didn't mind the ending of this fan fiction at all. I think anything else would have been ooc for what you have written. I've added this to my favorites; thanks for writing this. I'm going to read your friend Thunk's "Two Plants and a Girl." Once again, thank you.
omg i have been searching for this fan fic for as long as 5 years its so good. the plot and the wording of each sentence is breath taking... my go great writer!
Your writing is excellent! I love the way you form a tense aura in this story! it's amazing!

Wow. You certainly portray Knives in a way I've not read before. Interesting seeing Vash from the black sheep perspective. Good job.
The Puzzling Peregrin 4/28/08 . chapter 20
I'm impressed at how much detail you add. That's really interesting about the xenon, too.
The Puzzling Peregrin 4/25/08 . chapter 10
Nice. The biblical references add a lot of depth.
The Puzzling Peregrin 4/25/08 . chapter 6
Yeesh. Sounds about as pleasant as MY last well-woman exam! Yesh...
The Puzzling Peregrin 4/25/08 . chapter 2
I found you through a recommendation by Thunk-she's right, you are good! I enjoy the attention to detail, like mentioning Conrad's arthritis. Moloch as an ancestor for Legato has great poetic justice to it, and that's a neat connection between he and Meryl. I think you used the pronoun "free-born" plant a bit to liberally, but that's the only critique I have. I'm enjoying this!

I feel bad. I read this fic a WHILE ago (years ago) and absolute loved it (still do) but i never reviewed. i dunno why tho...well, here ya go!
lmao. _; i'm late, but hey.
YOU'RE AN AWESOME WRITER, YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT BY NOW! *_*

BRAVO!
A SEQUAL, PLEASE!
I can't believe it just ended... "I will not cooporate" that last line reminded me vaguely of Princess Leia from 'Star Wars' (lol).
But seriously. Even if you just write ONE more chapter for a sequal to this fic, from that one chapter, you might want to write another, then another, etc. I want to know if Meryl and Knives' relationship changes, how the baby plant grows (who it takes after, etc.), what ever happened to Legato and Eleandra, and of course- Vash. But mainly, I want to know more about Knives and Meryl's relationship. I found thier relationship to be the most heart-wrenching and interesting of all the relationships in the fic. Nice work.

Too lazy to sign in...
This darker take on the Trigun universe is nice. Damn nice. I always felt the true Knives and Trigun universe- the manga especially- really did have darker elements and tones to it. Anyway, poor Meryl! Knives and Legato make for one tough team. You should definitly write more Trigun fanfiction- why not another short, angsty, one shot? That would be nice... Please! Good work.

Ok, I finally read your story and I LOVED it! But please tell me there's a sequel somewhere because there's so many unanswered questions.
Wow, I really like this story! I read it in two settings and loved every minute of it. :) I liked all the science and logic you put behind this, with the dynamicytes, the explanations referring to plants, and Rem's ancestry, it create a whole new level to this story that I found particularly interesting. I also especially liked how Meryl, Knives and everyone else at the compound were supposed to hate each other, but time and constant contact eliminated any anger they felt towards one another.
Vash's storyline was heartbreaking. He seemed to lose more and more of himself as the story went on, seemingly because his brother was suddenly painted in a better light than himself. In the end, it became only about stopping Knives, and it didn't seem like Vash even cared about Meryl at all. Like Vash was obsessed with always playing the hero, but didn't know what to do with himself once he discovered that his brother might not be as villainous as he once thought. In fact, Vash almost seemed to become a villain himself, towards the end. It's very interested (and sad) to think that Vash would base so much of himself (like you said, he was always 'reacting') off of Knives, that once his brother began to change, he didn't know what to do with himself.
My only complaint about this story was how it just seemed to end. For instance, we are never told the future for Meryl, or if Wolfwood is okay or not. But I suppose that, in a way, this mimics life, and we are only left with a collection of assumptions. It doesn't detract from the story, and I didn't mind the not-so-happy ending at all, but I think this bothered me because I liked this so much that I wanted there to be more of it. :) Just me being a greedy reader.
I seriously think this is one of the best Trigun stories I have ever read. It was extremely well-written, the plot was AMAZING, so much so that I never even noticed I had read 28 chapters. :) Thank you for creating something so wonderful!
