Very well written! I have been a fan of Dragon's Bait by Vivian Vande Velde for quite some time. Out of all of the fanfics I have read for this book, I believe that yours is one of the top that I have read. Great grammar and following along with the writing style Vivian used in the original. Keep up the good work!

Very sweet without being fanservice-y. I especially liked the heart sharing thing - it seems fitting for magical lore while also being appropriately symbolic. I liked how there was drama and conflict but it never ruined the tone of the story. Even when Stelera does her worst she's easily rebuffed (although poor Alys is the one to suffer a bit in between the being saved parts).

Wow, I'm impressed with your writing style. You sounded like the author herself. As I read the chapters I kept thinking in my head, "Is this Vivian's alias? Is she really writing all this?"

Your story was phenomenal. The characters were wonderfully portrayed.

I'm not usually a fan of over examined detail. In my opinion it slows down the story, but the way you wrote out descriptions was interesting and it still kept the story moving along.
