It's nice to find a Sev/Luc shipper who seems to believe in love. I know that their story, if there is one, must be filled with problems (Narcissa, of course, being one of them), and it is refreshing to find a writer who acknowledges this while still putting forward the idea tat they once genuinely loved each other. So many Sev/Luc fics portray one or the other or both as evil to the core and incapable of love. I have always believed that it *was* their love, and more importantly the insurmountable obstacles it faced, that developed the bitterness and coldness we see in canon. Loss of love, not lack of it. I hope that makes a little sense. These are the letters I imagine my Severus and Lucius writing when I eventually put them in a position to do so (but don't worry, plagiarism isn't my thing). Anyway, thank you for a lovely fic.
