Wow. That was very good.

I bet ya didn't see this coming since I'm roughly three and a half years late for reviewing this story. Of course back when this story was written I didn't even know FFN existed and I only knew that Cowboy Bebop existed (and I constantly mixed it up with Outlaw Star). Honestly, I've been meaning to read this story for over a year now. But enough about that. I don't review too often and especially for stories that are this old (since I imagine the authors don't really care after so much time has gone by.) So the fact that I am reviewing this story says alot about how highly I think of it. Aside from the occasional odd look of the format, I can't think of anyway this story could have been better. I suppose I could say it could have been longer, but I didn't mind it's length so it's a moot point. The characterizations were absolutely perfect, couldn't have been better. And the emotion here is overwhelming. Your portrayl of emotion here is well executed and, for as sad as it is, is really beautiful. It's been a while since the emotion of a story really grabbed me like this. Perhaps, though, what I enjoyed most about this story was it's style. I can't quite put my finger on exactly what makes it appealing to me, but something does. Maybe because it kinda reminds me of how I might write, but I don't really know. Regardless, I really dig the style. Though I haven't read all of your works, this story may well be my favorite fic of yours. No disrespect to Awakening, of course, that's a fantastic story as well, but I just found myself more absorbed into this story. Maybe I have a bias for these darker stories, who knows. Anyway, to conclude this uncharacteristically long review, I can't praise this fic enough, and probably the saddest thing about this story is that your foray into Bebop fics begins and ends here. At least though the one story you did provide was as great as they come.

This seems a fitting though humble end for Cowboy Bebop. The final paragraphs where Jet could here the voice of a child were particularly haunting.
My only question is could this fic have been slightly longer to allow for more development towards the climax?

IT FAILED! FAILED! FAILED! IT WENT DOWN IN FLAMES! FLAMER FLAMES! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! MUAHAHAHAHAAHAH!
It could have been better. Writing style's choppy. Character perceptions aren't too good. It has it's moments though... *sighs*

Wow. That was so incredibly sad...but I can see where there's no emotion left, just numbness...very well written.

Mm, very angsty, very sad, strangely in character. Spike, Faye, Jet ...they were all strong, had to be, in order to shoulder the weights they carried, but somehow this final shattering seems fitting as well. Spike was more or less the one who brought the crew together and it seems as though he's largely the one who broke it apart as well, although he probably didn't mean to anymore than he'd meant to 'pick up strays' in the first place. Jet, poor Jet the loner, and Faye, the woman without a past, with a shadowed present and an uncertain future, Spike, the quirky Neo-Bruce Lee, the ever-cool and still passionate bounty hunter extraordinare, a cowboy, one of the last of his breed. Ed and Ein are a bit too complex and muddled to quite pin-point and define who they are, but most of us viewers understand anyway. I really liked this story, despite how dark it may seem to be, and I sincerely hope that you will continue to write Cowboy Bebop stories. Much appreciation and praise,
Hugs, kisses and sweet *day*dreams Aldrean Treu Peri, Neo-Moon Guardian
See you, Space Cowboy!
