Okay - first of all, I'm definitely positive. I know you're always afraid of what people might think. So before I start my usual babble, I'll give you that. ;)

I love the fact that you picked a moment like this, to write a scene for. I've always loved the moments where the three of them sit around the campfire, getting ready for bed.. Talking about the events of the day.

It makes you wonder what goes on in their heads, when they're just quietly staring into the fire. And, here you are - providing an insight to just that! :)

Great job on the character 'voices' - as you put it. I think you've pretty much written all three of them just the way they are. Gotta love Zedd's passion for food - and the gentle kibbling between Richard and the old wizard.

And of course, the subtle relationship between Kahlan and Richard. We all see the glances, and touches here and there! Love your interpretation of their relationship. It lines up quite nicely with my own thoughts. And I like Richard's sense of duty. It's a nice touch to the story.

So - very enjoyable to read! Fabulous job. :D
