I love this. I'm amazed by your ability to convey a scene and a feeling with so few words...it's a great snapshot of a moment, I can see and hear the bustle of the hangar and that last look between the two brothers... *sniffles*
This felt very in character...it's obvious Crais loves Tauvo, but that's not what he's thinking about right now...that affection is always there, in the back of his mind, but right now he's focused on the crisis and he has no idea what's going to happen. Which makes this so sad...great writing!
