heartmom88 6/2/11 . chapter 2'You make my heart light whenever I see you, Hermione,' he murmured softly, almost reluctantly, and his eyes fell to anywhere but hers. 'And that, in turn, makes my conscience heavy.'
Now *that* is some pretty fine writing. Loved it. And now my conscience is telling me to get back to work... no rest for the... whatever... you know.
Thanks for another lovely story!

Mione21 5/28/11 . chapter 1Oh my God, you brilliant woman! "'My arm is gone!' she gasped loudly." I was laughing so hard, I woke up the baby.
But now, I feel like sobbing when I saw the DATE of this posting! 2009? What the heck happened to this wholly endearing and extremely funny story?
I'm hoping that this review will push-push-push you to restart on this wonderful tale.
I'm going to threaten your muse with buggery by Hagrid himself if you don't take this one back up and finish it!
xx Mione21 xx and an xox for good measure. |

I loved the arguments with minerva, and I really appreciated that they were friends, before love fully kicked in - made it so much more believable :D |
 JoeBob1379 9/12/10 . chapter 2The fluff was perfect! Loved it! |
excessivelyperky 9/6/10 . chapter 2Very good chapter, though I am surprised at Minerva pushing for the relationship. And I do hope Snape's throat can be fixed; Hermione doesn't really understand the concept of 'chronic condition' very well, even with her parents the way they are.
Of course Hermione feels lonely, though, because she's not really a Weasley the way the others are. I hope she will be content with Snape-I fear he is quite right about what will happen to her reputation and career prospects when she is associated with him.
"Hermione blinked. 'Oh, no, I don't think so. It's all right for them, they have each other, but I wouldn't have the energy to start my life all over again.'"
-And yet, Snape is expected to do so.
Then again, given how old witches and wizards live, perhaps Snape will finally outlive those who still hate him. One can only hope. |
excessivelyperky 9/6/10 . chapter 1Let's see, Minerva saw how the party for Hagrid turned out, so she wants Severus to redouble it for the Order reunion? How very...untactful of her. As for Severus and Hermione, that's not her business anyway. I think Snape is being quite civil to Flitwick and McGonagall, considering the whole attempted murder thing; but then, he had practice having to behave around Sirius Black. Snape is well trained in having to be good around people who've tried to kill him, but I'm sure he doesn't care for it much, hence the refusal to go to the reunion.
And of _course_ Hermione shouldn't blame herself. Oh, no. She's been so carefully taught that everything she does is right, that I'm amazed that she feels any guilt at all.
What a pity she couldn't have just _told_ her parents the truth. But that was never an option, was it? Once again, she learned the lessons that Dumbledore taught so very well.
Excellent chapter. |
Rebecca Blair 7/10/10 . chapter 2I laughed at the part about The Sun...
