That was so adorable. I don't even really ship NickxEllis (and yet I read fanfics about them XD), but this was adorable. I love how you built the emotion up and how you kept it *realistic*. Amazing, for the first Left 4 Dead fic I've read on here. :)

I loovvedd ittt! Awe haha I was just waiting fo Nick to jump Ellis or somethig I sweaar hahaha. But geez the vulnerable moments that Ellis ha with Nck were so darn touching. It was a great oneshot thogh I wouldve loved for moooreee. Still still it was great. :)!

The feel to this story is a warm, gooey, squishy one...and I love it.

This was very good, I enjoyed each of the characters, even if the Ellis and Nick thing made me a bit nervous. LOL

That's pretty much how I imagined the post-game to be. In a camp or something. They couldn't just wander free. And you kept Nick's subborn-ass straight til the end xD Great fic.

on all seriousness I loved your L4D2 fics. While some things might be a little cliche or purple prose-y, the transitions between friendship and intimacy is great. The descriptions are great and development of characters is even better. You avoided the stereotypical "Ellis my darling/unnatural sex" scenes and created a relationship that seems a hundred times more intense than a relationship with sex and claims of undying love. oh and it wasn't a tragedy in the end. YAY. I am a FAN.

the "finger tips of god" line just slayed me.

The whole thing was really spot-on. Nick's biting comments and Ellis' stories and... man, there were parts that were so baww-inducing and others that just made me smile and it was perfect.

I hope you write more NickxEllis in the future.

Ugh, your L4D2 ficlits are little specks of diamonds hidden in this mass of ever-growing coal (although not all the fics here are that bad). Your work can be picked out from others because of the personalities you put into the characters. For example, Nick's such a horrifying jerk, but it's completely justifiable because of who he is and his pre-profession. Even more so, Ellis' character magnifies Nick's emotions a thousand times more.

This is absolutely wonderful. -And I must say... The metaphors you use to compare certain situations with are so clever that I'm 'loling' forever.

You're quickly becoming not only the best L4D2 author, but one of my favourite fanfic authors of all time. Great characterization, and the details that go in to every aspect of your story are so clever, so well thought out that I can't help but love it. Thanks for another great read, and thanks for making it Nick/Ellis.

I think you've managed to capture these characers perfectly. Their interactions seem so natural. If, for some reason, Ellis and Nick did end up together, it would be like this.

I really like that you managed to convey a sense of romance and comfort without being mushy. I also like that you gave the whole story a realistically hopeful tone: that nothing will be perfect again and that the scars from the zombie apocalypse might never fade, but that it'll be alright, eventually.

5/5, and no grammatical errors as far as I could see. (Saving to favorites!)
