I have always enjoyed your style of writing; it confuses me and charms me at the same time. You have such a particular way to describe feelings, linking them with happenings, textures, places... please go on. Will you go on as well with "In the shadow of the mountain"? I miss little Delia.

Hmm. I can't decide if I like the possible pairing, but so far I'm loving this story. It's nice how it all flows as one plot. Hopefully there'll be more soon?

DG's frustration is genuine and heart wrenching, but everything that passed between Azkadellia and Cain, from the hands to what he told her to that last sentence of dialogue (which is so stark, it hits really hard, I can imagine Az's tremble...)

I love the description through Cain's common sense eyes. He will never be swayed by all the pomp and grandeur. But it also doesn't let us know what the big discussion was-a tactic I approve of-and the end there pricks my thumbs for some reason I can't define.

This chapter was very atmospheric. Cain's concern for the princess leads to the real bit underneath all the elegance of the place they're in (the antechamber, and then parts of the palace). Brilliant. :)

Looks like Az is having a mental meltdown. Was surprised Cain broke a chair on her, but hey do what ya got to do. Nice story.

I am loving this story so far. I had resigned myself to the fact that others don't like the Az/Cain paring or even friendship interaction as much as I did, and figured their would not be any new or updated stories about them. I was so happy when i saw yours. To make it even better you are a great writer! Keep it up!

Cain taking care of Az after the exorcism? I would not have thought the man capable of that so soon.
