Ahh;; that was so sad. i LOVED it! So brilliant!

wow. what a chapter! I can feel this is a turning point. I mean will Bonnie blame Damon for what happened or worse, herself? Will Damon seek solace in Bonnie's arms? That was beautifully written. And I can't wait to find out what happens next! More Damon and Bonnie please!

Just read the last two chapters. I like how you incorporated the eps into your AU. Good job. The last chapter was so sad at the end. Can't wait for an update.

ahh i cant believe you updated! you so made my day(...err, uh night). that was awesome! seriously, i thought it was smart that you skipped the whole tomb opening and all that, most writers would've tried to change it somehow and rewrite it all. PLUS the ending was genius! the part where (for even the slightest moment) damon was back to himself, before katherine, was awesome, man i seriously cant wait till the 25th (4 more days, even if bonnie wont be in that episode) and your next update :D

I’ve been reading this wonderful story from the start but never reviewed. (I do apology for that. I know reviews help.) Instead of going back an trying to review each chapter; I’m going to try and make this review cover chapters 1 – 10 and start reviewing from here on out. Waking up to this update was wonderful.

Now on to the review!

1.) First and foremost, there can never be enough Bamon stories. And this is one of the best.

2.) I loved that you have Bonnie & Damon bonded together. It gives the story a wonderful side story.

3.) The concept of weaving this story into what we see on the show is wonderful. It’s so believable and made some of the scenes in the show better reading your interpretation of them. (I hope that last part made sense; it did in my head.)

4.) Enjoying that theirs more to Damon that being just the bad guy.

5.) I like that each chapter can be read as a one-shot and it feels completed when you done; but also on the flip side there’s still an on-going story.

6.) I don’t fault Damon for the way he feels. When Damon does what Elena & Stefan did it’s wrong but when they do it, it’s not wrong. Just being a good guy doesn’t give you a free pass to do bad things.

"I hope Elena dies."

Damon knew he was a bastard for liking the look of despair on his brother's face, but he couldn't seem to care about that anymore. After being betrayed one too many times by his younger sibling, the dark blows he dealt were more second nature than thought about. Especially after last night and realizing that one again, Stefan had fucked him over.

7.) Damon’s struggle between Bonnie & Katherine is really believable. I like that he knows that there will have to be a chose sooner or later.

8.) Thank you for having Damon save Bonnie. I would have loved to see that in the show.

9.) It’s amazing how these two keep circling each other.

"I think you should work on that at my place. And then later we may take a field trip into the woods."

"You're unbelievable. All you care about is Katherine."

"She's not all I care about…"

Bonnie blinked, biting her bottom lip. Did he just…

10.) I wish Elena would try to understand where bonnie is coming from a little more.

The brunette shrugged. "What other choice do we have?" Pause. "I know it's not something you want Bonnie but now might be the time to let Damon go. He's never going to stop, and you're going to just keep getting hurt."

11.) The ending was so heart breaking. They both have lost so much. At this moment they need each other more than they know.

Okay, this is exactly what should have happened. Period. Very very excellent, touching, and would have fit perfectly in that episode. Methinks that this chapter should be counted instead of the actual episode itself. Looking forward to more ;)

Oh, my this is so sad. The ending was sweet though. The way Damon was comforting her. I'm excited for the next chapter :)
