Chalcedony Rivers 11/28/09 . chapter 1“I love you, Hanschen!” “And so you should, Moritz.” That confused me slightly, but it is an interesting concept to show Hanschen moving from person to person. This was beautifully written, and really very sad. I look forward to reading more of your stuff! |
Demactica 11/27/09 . chapter 1Simply beautiful. What I love about this is that you don't baby your readers, and you leave it up to them to infer what's happening. I particularly enjoyed the Hernst/wine analogy; it was cleverly worded, oh-so-poetic, and quite true. Thanks for making me think. Each scene had its own personality and could almost be its own multi-chapter story. It's a melancholy ode to growing older - beginnings, ends, everything that comes before, between and after. It's made me feel - something most fics don't do much of, nowadays. More than that, it's made me feel a bit sad and nostalgic I'd love it if you tried more in this style. |
