Since this piece is so short, I'll give you my entire take on it. If I dared, I would try for the French accent, but I don't think I'm good enough at it. My layout is, as far as I can tell, identical to Rita's from the books.

Fleur Delacour, Beauxbatons champion for the 1994-1995 Triwizard Tournament, has applied for a staff position teaching at the ghost-riddled campus of Hogwarts School of Wichcraft and Wizardry (italics) writes Rita Skeeer, Special Correspondent(end italics). The snobbish French graduate is known only for her disastrous appearance in the tournament. She failed to save her sister from the clutches of the cruel mer-people that live under the water of the lake in Hogwarts and was the first to disqualify from completing the third task. Is this (italics) girl (end italics) fit to teach our future Ministry of Magic employees?

The comments of students from Hogwarts suggest that the student body is unprepared to accept her as a teacher. "She's such an airhead!" says Millicent Bulstrode, a pretty girl in Slytherin House. "She wouldn't recognize a crow from a phoenix or a summoning spell from a repelling charm, let aloe anything (italics) difficult (end italics)!"

Vincent Crabbe, a strongly built boy also in Slytherin, brings up a more violent image. "If she tried to teach she'd die from exhaustion, or the stress would overcharge her tiny brain and it would explode."

A teacher who wishes to remain unnamed has stated his opinion: "If we allow her (Fleur) to teach here, the reputation of this school will fall faster than a Muggle plane."

It is clear that the students' parents would also be severely displeased. "If she tries to teach my son something as intellectually chalenging as Transfiguration, you can be sure I'll have something to say about it," states Lucius Malfoy, a friend of the Minister and a highly respected man of our time.

"I would really like to come to teach at Hogwarts," says Fleur Delacour with a sickening French accent, "to learn more about the language." Quite frankly, Ms. Delacour, you have much more to learn than proper English.

i agree that fleur is prob. going to be the next DADA teacher at hogwarts...she might be ok...but she will probably only last a year-hehe-anyways it's good that there is finally a girl dada teacher...and i don't know what else to say about this fic.

Besides the mistakes, it sounds like it came right out of the book or the Daily Prophet! Good Job ;)
