LunaBlueCA 8/2/12 . chapter 1So bummed this story tailed off... I really loved the character development, especially Bella's - she has a lot going for her. One of the aspects I disliked of Twilight is that Bella was always just waiting for Edward and didn't have any real hobbies or skills of her own (until she became a vampire, that is). Your Bella is a good antidote to that image - disciplined, creative, and saucy, to boot. The descriptions of the creative process are sublime, farkle. For a spreadsheet-dweller like me, it transported me and made me appreciate creative types. I've often walked behind some of the Academy of Art students on the way to class (I work in the financial district in San Francisco) and have wondered what they were thinking, what kinds of lives they must lead, and what inspired them. Your story answered some of those questions. I had to laugh at your mention of the Roy Rogers Museum. It used to be in Victorville. I grew up in the town next door and it was one of the only fun things to do in the desert! My dad used to take us. It freaked me out to see the stuffed Trigger. The estate of Roy Rogers has since packed up all of the artifacts and moved the museum to Branson, Missouri, where I believe maybe it will have more of a draw. I also enjoyed your chapter titles, and I feel like I learned something by reading this story because I looked up each of the artists. Some I knew, and others I did not. I've seen Chuck Close's work at MOMA in San Francisco and loved it. Thanks for the journey and I do hope you pick this up at some point in the future. I was really hoping they would meet up again in North Carolina - that Edward's travels would have taken him to her door, in the woods, teaching art to kids. Best regards to you and thanks for the story. LunaBlueCA |
J.DRAST 7/23/12 . chapter 1Hello. Cool outtake. I can't believe he made a bootleg of the Bella/Emmett video for on his laptop and kept watching it! (He's a closet perv!) Thanks. Suzan Noerr |
Nitefall-sac 2/2/12 . chapter 1This is just great! Loved seeing this from EPOV. Really didn't realize that he felt this way. You've really managed to capture him through your words, he seems so genuine. Please update soon! |
Scarlet Taratata 2/1/12 . chapter 1That point of view Edward was really interesting, so "male". I really like this chapter. As in midnight sun, it gives an other relief to your story, an another deepness. Unexpected but sweet, attaching, sensitive. Reading this make me more sad to know that your story Will probably never find an end, except in my head. Thé fact is that i really enjoyed to know YOUR end ( i hope that my english is understandable). I hope that nothing awful happens to you so that you stopped this story who seems so important for you. I wish you good following in your life. Scarlet ( from Brussels, Belgium) |
Evolutions Vampire 11/26/11 . chapter 1can u please continue this. I really enjoy the original but it's cool to get Edward's view of everything. I really want you to continue this and please go staight to the next chapter because i really want to know what goes through Edwards mind when Bella asks him to model for her. And i really want to tell you this and ASC was dipped and is covered in AWESOMESAUCE. |
emochick920 10/8/11 . chapter 1I would love to read more of this perspective :) |
cupcake76 7/8/11 . chapter 1This was wonderful. Reading ASC was good but this really was like Midnight Sun. The other side is so juicy. |
Elara420 2/25/11 . chapter 1This was very excited to get into the mind of Edward. Do you have any plans to continue ASC from Edward's POV?... I am sure I would not be the only one to absolutely love that... :) |
twihard318 2/3/11 . chapter 1More Nudeward POV please. I had no idea Tanya screwed him up so badly. More more more ;) |
audreybrian 12/19/10 . chapter 1Ahh, so from his POV, there's much more attraction on his side that I would have known just from BPOV. You would never know this much was going on. And it seems that he uses the word kid to call Bella to bring him back to Earth. Like, she's just a kid. I can't believe Edward has so many thoughts. How could he not freaking love her and think of her as a friend after reading his initial thoughts of her. And Tanya, jeez Edward. Lol. He made it seem like he really loved her, when he makes it perfectly clear here that he loves her, but he's not in love her. Edward, you frustrate me so. |
jmolly 12/15/10 . chapter 1I loved this. Finally, we get into Mr Undecided's head. Aren't husbands who humour our writing great? Even better when they contribute insights into the male mind. I wish you allowed pm's, so I could respond to a few of your review responses. Like, in the last chapter, I totally forgot Em and Ed were friends, not brothers. lol. There have been 2 or 3 others to which I'd have liked to respond. Anyway, keep going my dear. I want to know what happens next. xo |
Twilizzle 12/4/10 . chapter 1Loved it x |
sosueme 11/6/10 . chapter 1I'm glad I waited and didn't read this too early into ASC, I liked the pacing of ASC just as it was, but reading e's pov was certainly interesting, especially liked reading just how embarrassed he was to model. He seems so big and tough, but the modeling makes him vulnerable. That combined with his recent break up, which makes him sort of confused gives a good picture of this edward. And I loved seeing his interpretation of odd bella knowing later they connect. And just in case you would ask...I liked reading this insight into edward, but I'd probably be leery of more than a few chapters of edward's pov, fearing too much repeating story line. |
