 Ra4chel-the 4 is silent 3/28/12 . chapter 1Seems like a really interesting story so far. I've always wanted to write a Snape-is-Harry's-father fic before, but I don't think I'd be able to do the subject justice because I'm not an amazing writer. I can't wait to keep reading and find out what happens. This is the best story I've read on the subject so far. :)
On a side note, isn't Fera Verto the spell McGonagall uses to turn an animal into a water goblet? Not sure if you realized you were just reversing that spell when you came up with the one to transform into an animagus or not, so I thought I'd point it out. |
 Veronica McC 3/8/12 . chapter 15 Severitus;
Actually, the ministry in this your story isn't so OOC, anyone only has to reread Fudge's turning on Harry in the end of PoA, GoF, as well as the newsprint smear of Harry in OoTP to remember. |
 Constance Truggle 2/17/12 . chapter 47I have been following this story since 2003. I have also took comfort in the fact that although my Severitus Challenge fic is not complete (different account), that the original Severitus fic also is incomplete. You have just the epilogue left to do, however... please please please post it! I have always loved this fic. Thanks for sharing it and for inspiring so many authors to write one of their own.

 maskedsinger01 1/29/12 . chapter 47Hello...
I'd just like to let you know that, upon its discovery, I've obsessed over this epic tale for the last few days, reading it every chance I could (I even ignored my boyfriend's texts and my family's demands). Upon finishing A Father's Sin, I feel truly that if the story had gone this way, I would be left rather satisfied rather than simply raw pain. There is nothing better that I've read on this site, nor partially in reality as well, and I'm afraid my praise may fall upon deaf ears... The last update was over two years previous, and I yearn to know the aftermath of your well-written novella (?) with the epilogue you so stated.
I've fallen in love with your work. The way Zachary fit as Harry's alias, the discovery of the fact that he and his father were truly very much alike, the way Draco had decided where his loyalties lay, the raw kindness and human compassion in every chapter. There are so many reasons I wish I could simply print out this masterpiece and carry it with me everywhere I go. So, instead, I will complete your Severitus Challenge as a thank you and as homage.
I must say, the fact that you made it so believable has thoroughly captured my senses. Even in your other shorter, fictions, I found myself clinging to the realism. Harry and Severus's attitudes towards one another are put to the test in each one, and the changes are slow and deliberate. Truly, I must say, you are an artist among us uncultured beings, and I am truly privileged and overjoyed to have been able to read such an amazing work.
I thank you, praise you, and wish to you all the success in the world.
