Holy hell, wonder what he's got to say to all of that! I sure hope he isn't going to let her go. How is this going to work in cannon? Is she and Severus going to have the same arrangement that her parents have? Is she there in the end to save him?

I love each chapter more than the one before it! Beautiful. Loved Severus, he was there for her, just like she tried to be there for him when he was going through hard times. True friends..maybe even more soon?

Great chapter! I love when Severus is so gentle, kind, tender and conforting. Well, I know, it might not last long, but anyway, it shows that he can be a very fantastic person when he wants! I hope he will be able to explain and make Tizzy understand why he stopped, because, he did make the wise choice. She was distressed. I really hope he will find the good words.

As for the Longbottoms, it's very sad...

The next scene has him chasing after her - his robes BILLOWing behind him - until he catches her and explains that he wants to take things slowly.

Please, please PLEASE let him be smart enough to actually say the proper words to explain himself. Let him tell Tizzy that it is HER he wants to see first thing every morning, and that they should try and be with each other because they actually want to be with each other. Yes, sometimes passion is an acceptable substitute for despair in the short term, but it's an unhealthy habit to form. Tizzy needs to understand this. And if there is anything Severus doesn't need, it is more unhealthy habits. He already keeps his own council too much; he needs to trust Tizzy as much as she trusts him. He's so awkward, the poor bastard.

I do so love your Severus; I wouldn't mind giving him a little "comfort" myself. *le sigh*
