Opening description of the destroyed city and the cast of the moons was absolutely lovely.

It's funny: In a way, Vash and Knives want to same thing: World Peace, Eden. They just have very different definitions.

I could see Knives changing his tactics. He's logical. What he was trying to do wasn't working, so he tried something else: total obliteration. Once Vash sees how great Eden is, he's sure to get over the death of a few humans, right?

And the end... like the plot to a Shakespearean tragedy. He destroys to create a Paradise to share with his brother, and in doing so destroys his brother, the only one he's ever loved, the motivation for his actions. *gasps and sobs* Terribly emotive.

Wow, a post-series fic where Knives remains evil. And succeeds in his plans. It's original, and I like it. The ending had a nice tint of irony too.

Holy shit, NO! Vash... and poor Knives... Knives won't be able to spend time in Eden with his brother, if he will actually have Eden... Good story...

Man, you really know how to rend the heart, huh? This was great, although I find myself continually swallowing to dislodge the lump in my throat.

Comparing this with your other fics that I've read, I've come to the conclusion that you could write for a living, mainly because you are capable of many styles and moods of writing.

The best books on the market have all genres in them and change writing formats to suit the situation. You do this as well, although I, with my soft heart and damned near bottomless compassion, find myself getting all bleary-eyed.

I will read the sequel, but, unfortunately, I'm running out of time (curse my lack of a computer, curse it!). _

That was SO SAD. Perhaps I shouldn't read all your trigun fics right in a row. Eh, I'll read the one after this one and stop for now, then return for the others later. This one was probably my favorite (so far, anyway). There's something about Knives that makes me pity and hate him at the same time in the series, and this just... no words, no words ;_; Very sad.

Heartbreaking. Wonderful imagery though, and very poignant emotion from Knives. Now there is a character I'm still trying to fathom the depths of...I just don't get him yet. Somewhere in his twisted mind it seems that he wants only to live alone with Vash in his Eden, and genius that he is, he never manages to see what all of the killing would do to his brother? Anyway, back to your story, it was very well written and gripping, grabbing the readers attention and holding onto it the entire time. Nice job :)

I love knives! (duh...my name says so) Anywayz i like this fic cuz of the way you depicted knives' nature. I like him dat way.
