Absolutely fantastic! I love the happy ending (I'm a sucker for a good happy ending!)

This was great. I love it.

Love the story. "Charlie slid the plate of fluffy waffles in front of Tristan.

'What's this?' Tristan balked at his breakfast causing Rory to look up from her papers.

'Waffles.'

'It has a face on it.' He pointed at the Hello Kitty that was positioned in the center.

'So?'

'Did you not hear me? It has a face on it! This is a chick waffle. A man can't eat chick waffles. It's looking at me! This all very Hannibal.'

Rory took the jar of strawberry preserves and applied a heaping spoonful of it on the cartoon cat. 'There, it's no longer looking at you. Better?'"

Love that scene! Chick waffles? And with Hello Kitty faces? Now I want a chick waffle with Hello Kitty. :)

The ending was unexpected, with the Mark-part and all, but I thought that it was very sweet. This was a great story, and I loved it. -Jax

its weird..i can both say i remember this fic, and totally not remeber it. the facts i remember are the prologue, dean being picked up from texas and his being an accountant, and the ring being disloged and falling down. thats it. but i know i must have read it cause i remeber the prolouge pretty vividly. either it wasnt finished, i nver finished reading it, or another fic had the same ideas as if it was one of those predescribed challanges.
anyway, after reading your other fics you can tell this one came earlier. it wasnt your first fic since you had written those max steel ones, which i hadnt read since i really didnt watch that animation, whichndear me. it is almost like it wasnt written by you. it didnt have that full wholeness that your other fics had. it had those missing elements that really captured me in your later writing. its as if this had an immature quallity to it. some ofthe aspects were there (like certain things by mark) but not all. and with that i can see how well you have developed your writting. currently i think your one of the best fanfic writers out there. and i do hope to see more of your work soon. thanks.
