it's not good to use random japanese words in the middle of an english story. it breaks the "rhythm" of the story.

i'd rather have "ranma is such an idiot" over "ranma is a baka". it just sounds more...right.

exceptions to this are jutsu, clan names, names of stuff in general, nicknames, or the "attachments" at the end of a name. i can't recall what they are called at the moment, but an example of one would be "sasuke-kun," with "-kun" being the attachment thingy.

other than that, this is an awesome story so fair.

And I don't think I'll read the next chapter,not because it's bad coz it isn't, manly because I'm still not sure about Ranma/Ryouga pairing lol.

Oh I LOVE this! This is great! Wait 'til Ryoga meets Akane in Ranma's body. Heheh... Poor Ryoga's good day'll edn the second he sets foot within Akane's eyesight. And Kuno, and Genma, and Shampoo... Etc, etc. Yes! Write more of this! This's gonna be great...

My biggest hope at the moment is that you don't abandon this project. Far too much good fanfiction gets left by the roadside, while the really bad fanboy stuff is easily, quickly churned out, because the writers never bother doing anything decent. You've got a good beginning, here: don't leave it lying around. ;)

It's a standard plot; I know it is, but *shrugs* I've never written Ranma before so I wanted to start out with somthing I was fairly sure I could do... also the fact that Ranma and Ryouga are blind little dummy's Annoy's the HELL outta me and I I REALLY wanna fix that. Also...i'm attempting to get better at writing charactors then in writing plot's and events. This story is perfect for the attempt.

I think I might see where this is going. Pardon me if I don my gypsy handkerchief and tattered robes:

Ranma is going to find out just how hellish life truly is for a person who can become a defenseless piece of miniature pork at anytime. Ryoga is going to discover that Akane really is maniacally abusive, and that it's very difficult to hurt any of three women who are in love with you-however badly that may look to outsiders. Eventually, both boys are going to realize that the enemy is not each other, but the boundaries to the perceptions they've created within themselves.

Handkerchief and robe off. Crystal ball removed. If I'm right, you've got a fairly straightforward plot ahead of you, and how realistically (and humorously) you treat the characters and their thoughts and emotions will determine the success of the work. Good luck, in any case.

Well written, with clearly a strong, well-considered idea that Ranma 1/2 literature isn't meant to be a series of comic strips minus pictures: I salute you. Nice characterizations, good descriptions; articulate with language, too. I'm interested in seeing where you go with this.

Shame about that perfect day.. it's gonna be followed up by Ryouga seeing what Ranma **really** faces on a daily basis.

To add to that, you're gonna have to bring out a cliche, in time; Ranma's gonna learn the Shi Shi Hakoudan in a matter of hours at this rate!
