FelipeMarcusThomas 8/5/10 . chapter 1It may be just an odd, drabblish piece to you, but to me it something with the potential to be a prequel to a very nice story. It would be great if you could do just that. |
omishiloh 7/14/10 . chapter 1Marvelous! I love the potential with the rings for her children- I have been looking for a piece with that idea (I've tried to write Narnia, but all of it has ended in the trash bin) for ages. Well-developed for a short piece, and I can see hints of the siblings in between the lines, which is what I hope for when I read Narnia fanfic. Promptly going to my favorites list. -omishiloh |

Avia Tantella Scott 12/6/09 . chapter 1This was absolutely lovely, and just what I was looking to read tonight! You took a premise that has been done very often (and often very well) and put a new and unique spin on it that I really enjoyed. I love the juxtaposition of the rings versus the other personal effects of her loved ones; it is easy to see why she would treasure Edmund's cap or Lucy's locket, but the fact that she so tenderly keeps the green and yellow rings close by hint that she still holds Narnia somewhere in her heart. The last lines were wonderful, and although the story is great as a one-shot I almost wish that you'd add just one more chapter where she decides that her children are old enough for her to finally touch the rings. Very well done! - Avia |
rainpaint 12/6/09 . chapter 1Wow. That was excellent. Gah, the one that really got me was Edmund's bloodstained cap (but that's because I'm a bit of an Edmund fangirl). Augh, the image of her crying into it is heartrending. I also like it that you keep it rather ambiguous as to whether Susan every really believed in Narnia again. A lot of post-LB Susan fics, although I love them dearly, are about her coming to believe in Narnia again. This was different, yet still good. |
Princess Lucy 12/6/09 . chapter 1that story was sad in a good way,I liked it very poignant |
