You...
Are...
Amazing! Marry me!

... No, seriously, it is an awesome story. Well written, interesting, sweet, a bit sad... I am so going to read your other Zelda fanfics! Keep up the good work! :D

I love this. So much.

You pack a lot of powerful emotion into these little snippets that show the progression of the Sheik/Link relationship throughout the game (well, with the pairing slant, at least. Your stuff usually ends up being my head-canon anyway, so I have to make myself remember what actually happened in the game. xD)

I love the music metaphors, such as in my favorite lines:

/His hands coax gasps from Sheik's lips like musical notes, playing him like an ocarina. He kisses the shadow of a bruise and the catch of breath in the Sheikah's throat is like a melody./

When I write, I tend to go on and on and on. My friend is always reminding me that it's more effective to say what you mean in as few words as possible, with as much meaning and emotion contained wherein as possible. You've done that with this piece. It's very touching and poetic (like Sheik!). It's such a perfect tribute to them. :D

DAH

ANGST

AAAAANGST

no, my Sheik/Link fluff... ;_; ANGST EVERYWHERE. I remembered the bit about the Serenade of water... SO BEAUTIFUL, so touching. Again I'm impressed on how you'd weave such fine, little details into your fanfiction. 8D

It ended so abruptly and sadly... :(

Um... wow! That was so beautiful. I loved how it started out, the foal simile was so perfect. I love the way you wrote it, the style of the sentence structure. It was very fluid and poetic. I liked how you kept the intrigue without overly saturating it with them being together, since we can read that anywhere. We knew what they felt, and felt it ourselves, Link's longing, and Sheik's surprise. I was sad at the end, but it wouldn't be the same if it had the predictable disney ending. *shakes fist at zelda* Anyways, I just loved it, and the rest of your Sheik art.

poor Link... can there be a sequal where they meet again?

It sucks how most Link/Sheik stories have to end sadly, if you want to follow cannon. I really like this story. The titles of each section are appropriate, especially the ones that are components of a song instead of types used in the game.

This is really a lovely fanfic. _ You wove all the little encounters between the two and the songs that accompanied excellently, making it wonderfully sweet.

I remember this as my very first SheikxLink fanfic. Still gets to me every time *cheers*

i liked it

interlude was great, why isnt there a button to do that in the game?

I am so glad to have found this gem! I have been scouring the Internet for Link/Sheik stories and keep finding nothing but porn (and tentacles...why are there tentacles? T_T). And then I find THIS, and it's exactly what I've been looking for. You deal with Link basically being a child, all his uncertainty and ignorance of adult life. And I love the way you followed Sheik's appearances in the game, it makes the story feel all the more real and their time together all the more painfully fleeting. I also loved the ending, how simply but powerfully it just stopped, how Link just KNEW.

I'm sure I'm supposed to find something to critique so you can grow as a writer or whatever, but frankly I couldn't find anything to fault if I tried. I'm too awed by the beauty and power of this piece...favorite!

I am amazed how simply yet efficiently/beautifully you put all the songs together.
