I knew it! He was the one who was supposed to get the book and was late picking it up (I'm sure he had a good reason for being late). Obviously he never made it to his office, or he would have seen the book. Great chapter, I love how excited she was about getting the book, and how it showed through. $600, yeah, she's got it bad.
