Reviews for Hallelujah
Callidora-Malfoy 4/25/11 . chapter 1
Hey Lia! I really liked this. At first I thought it was a DG fic but when I realized it was a Luna/Blaise fic it seemed to make so much more sense.

You wrote it really well, but it was so completely heartbreaking. A bittersweet ending.

Now, normally I'm not a fan of song-fics but I am just so completely amazed by this. The song fitted really well, it was perfect.

I hated that you killed Luna though. *glares* That was evil.

A great story though, loved the pairing and the writing!

That was so sad, and it ended with Luna dying! Oh no! But I loved it, I am so weird! My heart felt like it was going to jump out if my chest. I like this one too. I really hope you do another Blaise and Luna fic, no Luna dying this time haha

So this is how it goes...I was listening to Hallelujah, reading this fic and suddenly I found tears pouring down my face. A beautiful fic inspired by a beautiful song. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Somehow I know I will never be able to listen to my favourite song the same way again. This almost made me cry.
The Puppeteer 1/12/10 . chapter 1
Oh God. Gutted. I'm utterly destroyed by this story. Why...once he finds love. So horrible. How bittersweet? Oh, this was too much. Thanks for a great read. We need more Blaise/Luna fics out there.

Dominatrice 1/2/10 . chapter 1
Oh Lia, I /loved/ this! Silly me, I assumed it was a D/G and got a little confused at the end, but quickly realised that it was B/L! I've never read a fic, long or short, where Luna was the centre of attention, I think you managed her beautifully. I especially love this song, and I found the way you worked the lyrics into the narrative worked well.

She was a singular creature, complicated and sublime.- For some reason, I really loved this line. I think you've managed to convey much more depth to Luna's character, for all it was from Blaise's perspective, than most people do.

Fantastic, off to the next one I go!

OMFG! My favourite song with my favourite pairing! Really really beautiful story! :')
tinyriot 12/14/09 . chapter 1
I have to admit, when I first read this I totally bypassed who the characters were and read this as D/G. I thought, hmm ... this is a little different and was kind of confused, especially at the end. I then scrolled back to the top and saw that it was B/L and everything just clicked together. The way the story flowed felt very much how a Blaise/Luna relationship would. I don't particularly like song-fics but feel they work for Luna because her character voice to me always comes off melodic. I don't think I'm making any sense; nevertheless, this was so sad and beautiful.

Totally random but I think I enjoy Harry/Luna a bit more but Blaise/Luna is such a popular side ship in D/G fics that I appreciate it just as much. I once read a Luna/Theo fic. I don’t remember where or when but it was cute. I believe the author used the loss of their mothers as a common ground.

O o o h, I'm not happy with you right now, Missy.

You killed Luna and the baby. Even if Blaise would have flaked on her she left him before he had a chance to come about. Isn't the story supposed to go that the baby is born and he sees the light and becomes a better person?

And stupid Blaise only notices that it can be done when he sees Ginny and Draco. After Luna is dead.

You made me cry, and I don't like you right now.

*grumbles* But it was a brilliant drabble.
Aerileigh 12/14/09 . chapter 1
This is a unique idea. I'm not usually a fan of songfics, but I don't think I've read a song fic that built the song into the story. It's a lovely, haunting sort of song, and you've caught that mood here. It fits Luna well. (it is Luna, right?)

I don't like that the lines they say rhyme. It bothers me; I suppose it doesn't seem natural. Also, you've gotten some of the lyrics wrong-it's a marble arch and a holy dark. ;)

Very poignant ending, bringing Draco and Ginny into it. I am not a great fan of L/B, mostly because I do not see the parallels to D/G that many others draw, but you've done this well. Particularly for doing it over your lunch hour-I'm suitably impressed, darling. Lovely.
Boogum 12/14/09 . chapter 1
Aw, that was sad and somehow sweet too. It's very different to your usual writing because you've mixed the song in with the story, but I like it.
