I believe that sometimes a spanking is necessary when disciplining a child, but without over doing it and one whipping is enough. Two is too much and the child shouldn't be spanked by people other than their parents.

Aw, poor Pip! Pearl is a bully! Okay, so she is 15 years older and therefore and adult (and still living at home, looking after younger siblings, which must be frustrating) and I have no doubt that Pippin can drive the gentlest saint buggy, but still... she went *way* overboard here. I think it is time Eglantine and Paladin had a little talk to their oldest... *and* a little talk (and hug) with their youngest.
