Proud Marry 6/16/10 . chapter 1 So, since "when you're broken" and "baby blue eyes" I've been digging your glee (artie/tina) stories, and Damn! you're Amazing!
and thisone is just really intense, you dig artie's character really well, and although I haven't watche the movie you refer,I still get the point, and somehow I feel like this story mustbe better than the movie :p
I'm really looking forward for other amazing Artie/Tina Stories.
Keep writting about them please. you'remy favorite author in ffn! |
Kyra Adelaide 12/25/09 . chapter 8Sorry it took so long for me to review, Christmas is just so busy! But Oh My God, this was the perfect ending to the perfect story. Like, seriously, I don,t think I've ever liked a story so much. This should be a movie! Or at least an episode of gLee! They might need to tone it down a bit, because this was just so raw and honest and wonderful (wheelderful, haha), but it was so amazing! I'm out of words, to say, I need a thesaurus...
Oh! I watched It's A Wonderful Life last night! Did you know it's a three hour movie? But man, it's GOOD. However, the whole part about what his life would be like without him is only, like, 10 minutes long! Normally I wouldn't really care (because the rest of the movie was also amazing) but this was the description; "A man contemplating suicide gets a chance to see what life would be like without him." Okay, what about the rest of the movie?
Now to review the actual chapter...
At the beginning, I was like "Oh my god, it's not gonna be all happy and good! Artie's really disappearing! But then Tina was there, and I was like YAY! Happy Happy Joy Joy! And then there was all the cuteness and fluff between Artie and Tina, which just made me smile more and more (as soon as I realized Artie was gonna be okay, I don't think I stopped smiling for the entire thing (and 10 minutes afterward))
When he was like "O, a bell rang, something good happened" I was like "O-okay, that's kinda odd", but then I watched It's A Wonderful Life and the little girl reminded of the old saying "Every time a bell rings, and angle gets his wings"! Yay, Patches got his wings! Happy ending for all! But who will bark at Brittany's mom? Lima is going to miss the barking homeless man, mark my words...
Oh, and the white gloves in his pocket we're a VERY nice touch. I was thinking maybe it was just a dream, but then he found the gloves and I actually gasped and my cat ( who was sitting on my shoulder) freaked out and tried to jump of, but because he panicked, his claws grasped into my skin and, well, I don't think I need to go into detail. Reading your stories always seem to get me injured (or attract the attention of creepy old men, which makes me wait half an hour in -20 C weather while it's snowing). But yeah, it was great, because it was like OHMYGOD IT REALLY HAPPENED! Maybe they'll be magical and never get dirty...
The little part at the end was super cute, widening my smile even further (which I didn't think was possible).
Oh, just a side though! Even when my cat tore my freaking shoulder open (never let a cat sit on you while wearing a peasant top), I couldn't help but smile, because this chapter was so damn amazing! My mom thinks I'm crazy or emo or something now...
So I guess that's the end of my long-ass review. It'll also be my last review for this story :'( I'm glad everything worked out okay, but at the same time, I'm really sad to see it go. I've never enjoyed a story so much, and I'm gonna miss checking every ten minutes for an update. But thank you so much, it was a treasure to read this.
Last thought, I promise! My my, my reviews seem to get longer and longer don't they? Sorry about that :P Write another story and you might end up getting a damn novel!
Merry Christmas! |
