It bothered me that they didn't go here in the episode...it was bound to effect Brennan deeply.

Booth is the heart person, should have definitely saw that in Brennan.

Really loved this piece, very emotional, I have thought about fostering kids but I don't think I could ever give them back, I get attached to easy. I can totally be sympathetic with Brennan on her awareness of these new, unexpected emotions rolling through her!

This is lovely. Very nicely done...*especially* Booth's responses to her about her feelings and how she has responded to having Andy and having something in common with him, to him depending on her, about having the right to change her mind. Very nice.

Really nice piece! I loved it...Felt so sorry for Bones...Love how Booth was concerned for her and came looking! How he panicked (and I laughed) when she said she was having a heart attack...but how sad it was to realised that her heart was breaking! Love how Both comforted her and said 'all the right things' so that she could 'rationalise'...at least in her own mind if not heart!

Looking forward to when you get 'whatever is missing' in your own mind back to continue to write 40 Weeks again...You had no problem with this one though, so don't give up...Have a wonderful Christmas and see you again in the New Year...

While I read a great deal of criticism of Brennan's new found desire for a child, as a professional woman who found herself unexpectedly embracing motherhood, I understand that this change can be more personal development than character about face. This story was a nice segue from BitB to CitC and on into your own pregnancy story. Looking forward to reading more of 40 Weeks and your other work in 2010. Wishing you a Merry Christmas.

I completely understand not being able to write. Christmas is an insane time of the year.

I've been having similar problems with my fic. Between the death of my Grandpa and trying to get everything ready for Christmas, I just haven't had the time or the will to write.

Beautifully written! They're very in-character, but Brennan didn't seem that sad. But, you can never really tell what's going on in Brennan's head. I loved the little "heart attack", too. (:
