You're falling back into the "Pointless" category again. This little vignette is repetitive and fails to tug at any of the emotional strings it attempts to. Your characterization of Janeway was fairly accurate, afterall, she was pretty erratic, inconsistent and made sense less than half the time, but it still couldn't make me care.

this is cute, though i haven't seen this st:tos episode, i would think the quote meant that one has reached their greatest goal, and that they are enlightened. well, i guess the unity of the crew and the journey is a goal reached.
