You had me hooked from start to finish. Such sweet and flangsty FrUK. :) Sigh.

I loved how this turned out. The build up was well worth the ending, and sometimes that is what makes or breaks a fic. A lot of fics have great stories, great wordings, pacing, build up and tension, but the ending or the resolution to the conflict never gets justified and it's just so disappointingly anti-climactic, so yeah it kinda ruins the fic entirely. I admit I had no expectations but there was that tension mounting and you had me reading steadily from start to finish. I adored the details, the FrUK characterizations most of all, and the fluff! My heart thanks you personally, hahaha. My FrUK addiction was wholly satisfied. Thank you! I'm glad you shared this and I got to read it albeit very late... (goes off to read more of your FrUK.) :)

This was so sweet! The bit at the beginning with the broken unicorn seems SO like those boys at that age. The music box was absolutely adorable. I love those things to death, and the fact that Francis fixed up Arthur's unicorn that he kept all those CENTURIES is too cute. I really felt for Arthur during the party. Poor guy! I'm also glad that Francis didn't show up exactly at midnight and Arthur had the chance to reflect about how cliche/stupid expecting that to happen was. It really is too overdone. (you gotta love chick flicks for that though.)

REALLY DEAR, you're starting to warm me up to this Ivan/Alfred business. And Prussia was just too cute. I love the thought of him totally pining over Austria.
