The truth of this story really hit home at the end, and it all came together quite nicely-how Kakashi makes a realization just as the reader (or, at least this one :D) does. I loved the atmosphere of the beginning, and the parallel lines of beginning and ending. Really sweet! I love how everything important is very subtle and can be discovered through context-it makes it all the more rewarding to read.

It echoed my own inability to stop reading the story, even though I knew the scene at the cemetery was coming up.

Sad but yet, hopeful. I really like how you handled Kakashi’s inner turmoil and how Sakura was some sort of light to show him that, even surrounded by death, there’s still life to be enjoyed in the world.
